Description

The Raspberry Pi 8-Channel Level Switching IO Module is an essential tool for integrating 5V devices with the 3.3V GPIOs of your Raspberry Pi. While many sensors and peripherals operate at 5V, connecting them directly to the Raspberry Pi can damage its sensitive 3.3V GPIO pins. This module resolves this incompatibility by providing robust, bidirectional logic level conversion for up to eight channels.

Designed for ease of use, the converter automatically handles the direction of signal flow between the low-voltage (Ax) and high-voltage (Bx) sides, removing the complexity of external direction control. Simply connect your 3.3V supply to VCCA, your 5V supply to VCCB, and ensure a common ground. This setup allows for seamless communication, translating 3.3V TTL inputs on Ax to 5V TTL outputs on Bx, and vice versa. Its stable design, incorporating tantalum capacitors for power filtering, ensures reliable operation in critical applications.
