Description
The LPC2148 microcontrollers integrate a 32/16-bit ARM7TDMI-S CPU, featuring real-time emulation and embedded trace support, along with 32 kB to 512 kB of high-speed on-chip flash memory. Its 128-bit wide memory interface and accelerator architecture facilitate 32-bit code execution at maximum clock rates. For code-size sensitive applications, the 16-bit Thumb mode significantly reduces code footprint with minimal performance impact.
Designed for applications demanding miniaturization and low power consumption, such as access control and point-of-sale systems, the LPC2148 series excels. Its comprehensive suite of serial communication interfaces, including USB 2.0 Full-Speed device, multiple UARTs, SPI, SSP, and I2C, coupled with 8 kB to 40 kB of on-chip SRAM, makes it ideal for communication gateways, protocol converters, and low-end imaging. Peripheral support includes various 32-bit timers, single or dual 10-bit ADCs, a 10-bit DAC, PWM channels, and 45 fast GPIO lines with external interrupt capabilities, making it highly suitable for industrial control and medical systems.
