mBridge RJ25 Expansion Board for BBC Micro:bit

Description

The mBridge is a user-friendly expansion board designed to seamlessly integrate RJ25 sensor modules with the BBC Micro:bit and Robotbit platforms. It functions as an essential intermediary, allowing Micro:bit to act as the main control board while utilizing a wide array of RJ25-compatible sensors within the Makecode programming environment. This board is specifically engineered to simplify connections, negating the need for complex wiring adapters and making project development more efficient.

Users can leverage their existing RJ25 sensor collections directly with Micro:bit-based projects, especially those involving the Robotbit. The mBridge board includes a dedicated Makecode extension, ensuring that its functionalities do not interfere with other resources available on Robotbit, such as RGB lights, motors, and servos. It provides four groups of RJ25 interfaces, capable of supporting analog, digital, and I2C sensors, indicated by makeblock’s color coding. Additionally, an onboard 4-pin I2C header is available for connecting 5V I2C modules, expanding its peripheral compatibility.
