The Wittelb WIN-GW is a robust industrial IoT gateway engineered to bridge legacy serial devices and modern cloud infrastructure. It integrates a 4G LTE modem for primary WAN connectivity, ensuring operational continuity in field deployments. The gateway translates Modbus RTU data from connected RS485 sensors and controllers into TCP/IP packets, which can be routed locally via Ethernet or transmitted to the cloud using the lightweight MQTT protocol.
Built for 24/7 operation in challenging environments, the device supports a wide 12V DC input range (15-40VDC) and operates within a 0–60°C temperature range. Its integrated web server provides a configuration portal for setting APN details, MQTT broker parameters, and Modbus register mappings, eliminating the need for proprietary software.
