The WeAct Studio ISOCANFD Module V1 implements a complete, isolated CAN FD physical layer using the CA-IS2062A transceiver IC. This module provides robust differential bus communication with enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance, making it suitable for electrically harsh environments common in automotive diagnostics, industrial machinery, and building automation. The 2.5kV isolation barrier ensures signal integrity and protects the host microcontroller from voltage spikes and ground potential differences on the CAN bus.
Designed for developer convenience, the board includes a switchable 120Ω termination resistor, eliminating the need for external SMD components when configuring network endpoints. Its wide logic-level voltage range allows direct connection to 3.3V ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, or 5V Arduino boards without level shifters. The module operates from a standard 5V supply, drawing minimal quiescent current, and is ideal for implementing reliable, high-speed control and sensor networks in IoT edge systems.
