The VS1053 MP3 Recording Module is a versatile development board engineered for audio processing tasks, including playback of various music formats and real-time OGG encoding for recording. Its robust design integrates an SPI interface, allowing for straightforward control signal extraction and connectivity with a wide array of embedded systems, making it suitable for custom audio projects.
This module enhances functionality with an onboard TF SD card slot, enabling direct storage of recorded audio data and subsequent playback. Users can easily manage and transfer MP3 files via the SD card. Audio input options are comprehensive, featuring an onboard microphone and a dedicated 3.5mm line-in interface, alongside separate 3.5mm jacks for audio output and microphone input. Stable power delivery is ensured by an onboard AMS-1117 LDO chip, providing 3.3V and 2.8V with up to 800mA current from a single +5VDC supply, complemented by a 12.288MHz crystal oscillator for precise timing.
