Description

The Vacus ESP32-DW3210-V2 Long Range Evaluation Module is engineered as a robust development platform for creating accurate Ultra-Wideband (UWB) positioning anchors. It combines the processing power of the ESP32-WROOM-32E, featuring dual-core 240 MHz Xtensa processors, integrated Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy, with the high-precision ranging capabilities of the DW3210 UWB transceiver. This synergy enables sub-meter accuracy in distance measurement and stable wireless data links.

Operating on UWB Channel 5 at 6.5 GHz, the module is optimized for long-range performance, reliably exceeding 100 meters in various environments. Its architecture includes sophisticated power management, supporting an operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, which facilitates integration into both portable and mains-powered systems. The inclusion of both USB and RS232 serial interfaces provides unparalleled flexibility for development, debugging, and post-deployment remote firmware management, making it suitable for fixed installations.
