The Teltonika RUT951-LTE is engineered as a hardened networking core for industrial IoT and remote telemetry applications. Its Mediatek 580 MHz MIPS CPU, coupled with 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, handles routing, VPN tunnels, and firewall policies under the RutOS operating system, ensuring reliable performance in variable conditions. The router establishes primary WAN connectivity via its 4G LTE Cat-4 modem, with automatic fallback to 3G/2G networks and seamless switching between two SIM cards to maintain uptime.
Network interfacing is comprehensive, with four Fast Ethernet ports supporting passive PoE for powering remote devices like IP cameras or sensors, and a built-in Wi-Fi 4 radio for local wireless client access.
