The Teltonika RUT206 Industrial 4G Router is engineered as a compact, high-performance networking core for mission-critical IoT and industrial telemetry applications. Its Mediatek 580 MHz CPU, coupled with 128 MB RAM and 32 MB flash, handles concurrent 4G LTE Cat 4 backhaul, dual Ethernet routing, and serial protocol translation with stability. The router’s power architecture accepts a wide 9–57 VDC range and both 802.3af Active and Passive PoE, making it ideal for installations in vehicles, renewable energy sites, or harsh outdoor cabinets where power quality varies.

Beyond cellular connectivity, the RUT206 serves as a versatile industrial gateway. Its integrated RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces, terminated on a 6-pin connector, allow direct integration with SCADA systems, smart meters, and legacy industrial equipment using Modbus, DNP3, or DLMS/COSEM protocols.
