Description

The XBee 3 Module consolidates the legacy of the XBee series into a single, advanced platform supporting 802.15.4, Zigbee mesh, and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols. Its integrated HCS08 microcontroller, running at up to 50.33MHz, transforms the module from a simple radio into a capable embedded processing node, programmable in MicroPython or configured via AT commands and API frames using Digi International’s XCTU software.

Engineered for reliable IoT connectivity, the module features a PCB antenna and offers a robust RF link with a transmit power of +8 dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -103 dBm. Its power architecture is optimized for field deployment, supporting a wide 2.1V to 3.6V supply range and an ultra-low 1.7 μA sleep current. Built-in RS-485 support and AES encryption further enhance its suitability for industrial telemetry and secure wireless sensor networks.
