The GZP6899D0.5KPW utilizes a MEMS piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge structure fabricated on a silicon diaphragm. Applied pressure causes a mechanical strain, resulting in a proportional change in the bridge resistance. This analog signal is conditioned and digitized by an integrated ASIC, providing calibrated digital pressure data via the I2C bus, simplifying system design and reducing external component count.
Engineered for low-power operation, the sensor’s 100nA standby mode makes it ideal for always-on, battery-powered monitoring applications. The 3.3V single-supply operation and I2C interface ensure straightforward compatibility with modern 3.3V logic microcontrollers and system-on-chip platforms, eliminating the need for level shifters or additional signal conditioning circuitry.
