Description
The Seeed Studio Studio LinkIt ONE development board consolidates multiple wireless technologies into a unified prototyping platform for IoT and M2M applications. Centered on the MediaTek MT2502A (Aster) SoC with an ARM7 EJ-S core running at 260MHz, it provides the processing muscle for handling concurrent GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS data streams. The board is designed for low-power operation, supporting direct connection to a 3.7-4.2V lithium battery, making it suitable for portable and field-deployed devices.
Its hardware architecture emphasizes compatibility and extensibility, mirroring Arduino pin mappings for digital I/O, analog inputs, PWM, I2C, SPI, and UART. This allows seamless integration with a vast ecosystem of shields, Grove sensors, and peripherals. The integrated MT5931 Wi-Fi chip supports 802.11 b/g/n networks, while the dual-mode Bluetooth stack enables both classic (BR/EDR) and Low Energy (BLE) connectivity. The onboard GPS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, and BEIDOU constellations for accurate global positioning.
