The CLJ-A12-4APA operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. An internal oscillator generates a high-frequency field at the sensor’s face. When a metallic object enters this field, eddy currents are induced, causing a change in the oscillator’s amplitude. This change is detected by the internal circuitry, triggering the PNP transistor output switch.
Engineered for industrial durability, the sensor’s metal housing provides resistance to mechanical stress and environmental contaminants. Its fast switching speed and immunity to non-metallic materials make it ideal for high-speed counting, end-of-travel detection, and part presence verification in automated assembly lines, CNC machinery, and material handling systems.
