The PMS7003MT employs advanced laser scattering technology to accurately quantify airborne particulate matter. A laser diode illuminates particles, and a photodetector measures the scattered light intensity, which is processed by an internal microcontroller to calculate Particle counts and mass concentrations for PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10.
This sensor features a high counting efficiency of 98% for particles ≥0.5 µm, ensuring reliable data for environmental monitoring. Its robust digital UART interface outputs structured data packets, simplifying integration with data loggers, IoT gateways, and industrial control systems. The compact and thin design is engineered for durability in both indoor and outdoor air quality assessment applications.
