Description
The Nano Board R3, powered by the Atmel ATmega328P-AU microcontroller, provides the core capabilities of the Arduino Uno platform within a significantly smaller footprint. Designed for embedded applications where space is at a premium, this board integrates a CH340 USB-to-serial converter, offering a cost-effective solution for USB communication and programming compared to older FTDI-based versions.
This development board simplifies prototyping with its pre-soldered headers and included Mini-B USB cable, ensuring ease of setup for a wide range of projects. It supports multiple power options, including the Mini-B USB connection, an unregulated external supply (6-20V), or a regulated 5V external supply, with automatic selection of the highest voltage source. A pre-installed bootloader facilitates easy program uploads via the Arduino IDE, complemented by a manual reset switch and on-board LEDs for power and serial communication status.
