The MT76813DBI is a dedicated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi antenna designed to augment the RF performance of ESP8266 series wireless modules and development boards. Its core function is to provide a stable, low-VSWR signal path, replacing the often limited onboard PCB trace antennas to improve link budget and range in smart home sensors, remote data loggers, and IoT gateways.
Engineered with a flexible coaxial cable and an IPEX (U.FL) female connector, it interfaces directly with the common antenna pad found on ESP-12 modules and their derivatives. The SMA-KY male termination allows for further extension or connection to larger external antennas if needed, offering system integration flexibility. The polyurethane radome protects the radiating element while maintaining a low profile for indoor deployment.
