The KSD302 is a bimetallic disc thermostat, where a temperature-sensitive metal disc snaps to reverse its curvature at a precise calibration point (120°C), mechanically opening the electrical contacts. This simple, reliable mechanism requires no external power, making it a fail-safe solution for over-temperature protection.
Housed in a durable ceramic body, the switch offers excellent electrical isolation and thermal conductivity. The normally closed configuration ensures the controlled circuit remains live until the temperature threshold is exceeded, after which it breaks the connection to prevent damage or hazardous conditions.
