It is important to note that this board is not compatible with M.2 SATA SSDs, M.2 PCIe AHCI SSDs, or other non-NVMe M.2 devices. For new NVMe SSDs, initial partitioning and formatting are required when first connected to the Raspberry Pi 5. The X1002’s bottom-mount form factor ensures full compatibility with other HAT shields mounted on top and supports the installation of official active coolers, allowing for comprehensive system cooling.
