Description
The ESP32 WROVER-E DEVKITC is a robust development board centered on the Espressif ESP32 system-on-chip, designed for engineers and makers building connected IoT devices. It combines a powerful 240MHz dual-core Xtensa LX6 microprocessor with 520KB of internal SRAM, significantly expanded by 8MB of external PSRAM, enabling advanced applications like voice processing, image buffering, and complex data logging without memory constraints. The integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi radio supports 802.11 b/g/n protocols, while Bluetooth 4.2 provides classic and low-energy connectivity options for local device networking.
Hardware integration is streamlined through the onboard CH340 USB-to-serial converter, which ensures stable firmware uploads and serial debugging via a standard micro-USB port, eliminating the need for external FTDI programmers. The board’s pinout exposes all critical ESP32 signals, including multiple ADC channels, capacitive touch inputs, and high-speed interfaces like I2S and SPI, making it suitable for audio projects, display drivers, and multi-sensor networks. With an operating voltage range of 3.3V to 5V and a robust operating temperature from -40°C to 85°C, this board is engineered for both prototyping and deployment in demanding environmental conditions.
