Description
This module combines the processing power and dual-band connectivity of the Espressif ESP32 with the long-range, low-power capabilities of the Semtech SX1278 LoRa transceiver. The 32-bit dual-core LX6 processor runs at 240MHz, managing Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2 (Classic & BLE), and the LoRa modem concurrently. The integrated 0.96-inch OLED provides a crisp display for sensor data, network status, or custom GUI elements, making it an all-in-one wireless telemetry node.
Power management is flexible, accepting 3.3V to 7V inputs via the onboard regulator, with a dedicated lithium battery charging interface supporting portable operation. The CP2102 USB bridge ensures reliable serial communication for flashing firmware via Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, or PlatformIO. With a high-sensitivity LoRa receiver (-148dBm) and configurable output power up to +20dBm, this board is engineered for reliable communication over distances exceeding 2km in open spaces, ideal for remote environmental sensing and decentralized IoT networks.
