Description

The DFRobot FireBeetle ESP32 IoT Microcontroller is engineered for power-sensitive Internet of Things applications. It centers on the Espressif ESP-WROOM-32 module, which provides a dual-core Tensilica LX6 microprocessor, 520KB SRAM, and 16MB of flash memory, coupled with robust 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radio functionality. The board’s architecture prioritizes energy efficiency, featuring advanced power management that enables a deep sleep mode drawing a mere 10µA, dramatically extending operational life on a single LiPo battery charge.

Its design simplifies firmware development with pre-configured pin mapping for the Arduino IDE, eliminating the need for manual boot mode toggling during code upload. The board accepts a 3.3V to 5V input, regulates it to a 3.3V operating voltage, and can deliver up to 600mA discharge current. With a -40°C to 85°C operating temperature range, 10 digital GPIOs, and a compact footprint, it is a versatile foundation for smart home devices, environmental monitors, wearable tech, and industrial telemetry systems.
