CUAV P8 Radio Telemetry Module (Sky and Base Unit)
The CUAV P8 is a professional-grade, long-range radio telemetry module operating in the 840-845 MHz band, designed for ArduPilot and PX4-based UAVs. It provides up to 60 km of reliable communication with a high 345 Kbps data rate, supporting 3S-12S LiPo input (12V-60V) for direct integration.
Features
- Ultra-long-range telemetry up to 60 km in the 840-845 MHz frequency band.
- High-speed data transmission at 345 Kbps for real-time telemetry and MAVLink data.
- Wide 12V-60V input voltage range compatible with 3S to 12S LiPo batteries without a BEC.
- Supports point-to-point, point-to-multiple, and relay communication modes for flexible deployment.
- Robust error correction (Hamming, BCH, Golay, Reed-Solomon) and low power consumption design.

The CUAV P8 Radio Telemetry Module is engineered for demanding UAV applications requiring stable, long-distance communication between the airframe and ground control station. Its robust RF design in the 840-845 MHz ISM band minimizes interference and provides exceptional penetration, making it suitable for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations in varied terrain.
Built with a high-efficiency power system, the module accepts a wide 12V to 60V input, allowing direct connection to common UAV power systems from 3S to 12S LiPo packs. The integrated thermal management and dual TTL/USB interfaces facilitate easy configuration and reliable operation in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
