The AS-10 Automatic Light Sensor Switch operates on a photoresistive sensing principle, where a sealed Cadmium Sulfide (CDS) cell changes resistance based on ambient light intensity. This change is processed by an internal comparator circuit to actuate a robust relay, providing automatic ON at dusk and OFF at dawn functionality.
