This ARF Quadcopter Upgraded Combo Kit offers a comprehensive solution for individuals venturing into the multirotor hobby, streamlining the often daunting process of selecting compatible components. Designed to guide aspiring pilots and builders, this kit eliminates the guesswork by providing a curated selection of proven hardware, enabling a smooth assembly experience from soldering to initial flight.
The kit features a robust Q450 Quadcopter Frame with an integrated PCB, simplifying ESC connections and ensuring a clean electronics layout. Propulsion is handled by four efficient 2212 920KV brushless motors—two CW and two CCW—paired with OrangeRX HD 1045 propellers for optimal lift and stability. Complementing these are four SimonK 30A Brushless ESCs, known for their rapid response and precise motor speed control, crucial for agile multirotor performance.
At the core of the system is the APM 2.8 Multicopter Flight Controller, a powerful open-source autopilot that enables GPS waypoint missions and advanced autonomous flight. Control is delivered via the FlySky FS-i6 2.4G 6CH PPM RC Transmitter, bundled with the FS-iA6B Receiver, providing reliable communication with dual antenna reception. Powering the system is an OrangeRX 5200mAh 3S 40C LiPo battery, ensuring ample flight time, supported by a LiPo Voltage Checker and necessary wiring and servo extensions for a complete build.
