Description

The Arducam IMX477 Motorized Focus Camera Module replaces manual lens adjustment with precise, software-controlled focusing. An integrated micro-motor is managed directly through the camera’s I2C interface, allowing developers to implement autofocus algorithms or provide fine-grained manual control via keyboard inputs or scripts. This eliminates mechanical wear and enables remote, repeatable focus setups.

Built around the high-performance Sony IMX477 back-illuminated sensor, this module captures 12-megapixel stills and supports high-frame-rate video. It is supplied with two flexible ribbon cables (15-pin to 22-pin and 22-pin to 22-pin) for compatibility with standard Raspberry Pi boards (Model A/B) as well as the Pi Zero and Compute Module variants. The module is ideal for projects requiring consistent image quality, such as machine vision, surveillance, or automated inspection systems.
