The ACEBOTT PM2.5 sensor employs an infrared optical scattering principle to detect and quantify airborne particulate matter. A built-in fan draws air through the sensing chamber, where a light source illuminates particles, and a photodetector measures the scattered light intensity, which is correlated to Particle concentration. This method provides real-time, reliable data on PM0.3, PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 levels.
The module outputs processed concentration data via a UART TTL serial interface, compatible with 5V logic levels common in development platforms like Arduino and ESP32. Its low current draw and compact design make it suitable for integration into portable, battery-powered, or fixed air quality monitoring stations, smart home systems, and air purification control units.
