This sensor utilizes a platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD) element with a nominal resistance of 100Ω at 0°C and a temperature coefficient of 3850 ppm/K. The 4-wire design is critical for precision measurement, canceling out the effects of lead wire resistance to deliver highly accurate readings directly compatible with industrial RTD input modules and data acquisition systems.
Constructed with a SUS304 stainless steel sheath, the probe offers excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The FEP-insulated, shielded cable provides waterproofing and high insulation resistance (>100 MΩ at 20°C), ensuring signal integrity and long-term stability in environments with moisture, vibration, and electrical noise. The sensor’s fast response time (t0.9 = 0.20s in water) makes it suitable for dynamic temperature monitoring applications.
