The KSD302 is a bimetallic, fixed-temperature thermal cutoff switch housed in a robust ceramic body. Its Normally Closed (NC) contacts remain closed under normal operating conditions, completing the circuit. When the ambient temperature reaches the calibrated setpoint of 105°C, the bimetallic disc snaps open, breaking the circuit to protect downstream components from overheating.
This switch is designed for direct series connection with heating elements, motors, or transformers in appliances, power supplies, and industrial control panels.
