The StanBon STD10-32NC is a through-beam photoelectric safety sensor, commonly referred to as a light curtain. It establishes a protective field of 32 parallel infrared beams (940nm wavelength) with a fine 10mm resolution, capable of detecting the intrusion of fingers, hands, or tools into hazardous machine areas. Its optical synchronization and CPU-controlled periodic scanning ensure stable, fault-tolerant operation even in environments with strong electromagnetic noise.
Engineered for durability, the sensor operates within a -10°C to 55°C temperature range and features an IP54 protection rating, making it suitable for demanding factory floor applications. The compact emitter and receiver units (27mm x 29mm profile) facilitate installation in space-constrained locations, while the independent power supply design at both ends enhances system reliability.
