The sensor operates on a wide-range DC supply from 10V to 30V. This flexibility allows it to be powered directly from common industrial 24V DC power supplies or other DC sources within this range, ensuring easy integration into existing control panels and machinery.

The 4-in-1 output is configured via internal DIP switches or wiring to specific pins on the quick-disconnect connector. You can select between NPN (sinking) or PNP (sourcing) transistor outputs, as well as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) switching logic, to match the input requirements of your PLC or controller.

An IP67 rating indicates the sensor is completely protected against dust ingress (6) and can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes (7). This makes it suitable for use in washdown areas, outdoor environments, and dusty industrial settings like woodshops or foundries.

The specified maximum sensing distance is 20 meters under ideal conditions with a properly aligned receiver. This range can be reduced by atmospheric conditions like heavy fog or dust, as well as by the size, color, and surface reflectivity of the target object. For consistent long-range detection, ensure a clear line of sight.
