The FST100-DO202A dissolved oxygen sensor operates on the fluorescence quenching principle. A fluorescent substance on the sensor’s membrane head is excited by a light source, and the decay time of the emitted fluorescence is inversely proportional to the concentration of oxygen molecules present. This phase difference is measured, processed via an internal calibration curve, and compensated for temperature and salinity to output a precise digital value.
Engineered for demanding applications, its robust POM construction and IP68 protection allow for direct immersion or in-line installation via its 3/4″ NPT threaded port. The integrated RS485 interface ensures reliable, noise-immune communication over long distances, making it suitable for integration into modern industrial control and monitoring systems.
