The ACEBOTT Raindrop Sensor operates on the principle of resistive sensing. When raindrops land on the exposed parallel electrode surface, they create a conductive path, altering the electrical resistance between the contacts. This change is converted into a variable analog voltage signal proportional to the intensity or presence of moisture.
Designed for seamless integration, the module outputs a clean analog signal suitable for direct connection to the analog input pins of common development boards like Arduino Uno, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi (with ADC). Its wide operating voltage and temperature range ensure reliable performance in both indoor prototyping environments and demanding outdoor weather station applications.
