RadioLink R8EF Receiver - 8-Channel SBUS/PPM/PWM

The R8EF is broadly compatible with flight controllers that accept SBUS, PPM, or PWM input signals. This includes popular boards running Betaflight, iNAV, or ArduPilot firmware. For SBUS, ensure your flight controller's UART is configured correctly; for PPM, use the dedicated signal pin; and for PWM, connect individual channels to corresponding PWM inputs.

The R8EF receiver supports a wide input voltage range from 3V to 15V DC. This allows it to be powered directly from a 1S to 4S LiPo battery (via a BEC or regulator) and makes it compatible with high-voltage servos that operate at 6V, 7.4V, or higher, simplifying power system design.

Power on the receiver while holding its bind button (if present) or by applying power in a specific bind mode as per the manual. Then, initiate the bind procedure on your compatible RadioLink transmitter (e.g., T16D, T12D, T8 series). The receiver's LED will indicate a successful bind, typically by changing from a blinking to a solid state.

Yes, the R8EF includes a configurable fail-safe function. In the event of a signal loss, the receiver can be programmed to either hold the last received command or move all channels to a user-defined preset position (e.g., throttle to zero, controls to neutral).
