This open-source diversity receiver leverages two independent RX5808 modules to continuously monitor and select the strongest signal from two connected antennas, such as a cloverleaf for omnidirectional coverage and a patch antenna for directional gain. The automatic switching algorithm requires no user intervention, ensuring a stable video feed during high-speed maneuvers or long-range excursions.
The built-in OLED display provides critical telemetry, including active channel, signal strength (RSSI), and diversity state, allowing for on-the-fly configuration and monitoring. Its design is based on fully open-source hardware and firmware, enabling advanced users to customize functionality and data display to suit specific FPV applications, from competitive racing to cinematic aerial photography.
