The Waveshare SIM7600G-H module is built around the SIM7600G chipset, delivering Cat-4 LTE speeds for robust machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things connectivity. Its architecture supports fallback to 3G and 2G networks, ensuring coverage in areas with limited LTE infrastructure. The integrated multi-GNSS receiver provides fast, accurate positioning for asset tracking, telematics, and remote monitoring applications.
Engineered for industrial reliability, the module incorporates advanced power management, including isolation between USB and pin-header supplies and anti-reverse protection on the VIN pin. This design prevents dropouts during high instantaneous current draws, common in data-intensive transmissions. The onboard interfaces and castellated edge allow for flexible integration, whether soldered directly onto a custom PCB or used as a plug-in daughter board via the pin header.
