Description

The StereoPi v2 Slim is a specialized carrier board engineered to transform a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 into a powerful stereoscopic vision system. Its dual 15-pin CSI-2 interfaces allow for simultaneous capture from two camera modules, enabling real-time depth perception, 3D reconstruction, and immersive video streaming. The board’s slim 15mm profile is ideal for integration into drones, robotic heads, and portable AR/VR rigs where space is at a premium.

Built around the Raspberry Pi ecosystem, it provides full GPIO access (via the standard version) and supports a wide range of official and third-party camera sensors, including the high-resolution IMX477. Power is supplied via a 5V input, and the board includes essential connectivity such as micro HDMI for direct video output, with optional versions offering Ethernet for networked applications. This makes the StereoPi v2 a foundational hardware platform for developers and researchers working in advanced computer vision and real-time stereoscopic processing.
