Description

The M5CoreS3 SE is a streamlined version of the third-generation CoreS3 main unit, engineered for IoT developers and makers. It leverages the ESP32-S3 SoC, providing a dual-core 240MHz LX7 processor with robust 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, substantial 16MB flash storage, and 8MB PSRAM for data-intensive tasks. The USB-C interface supports OTG and CDC functions, facilitating easy firmware uploads and direct connection of USB peripherals.

Power management is handled by the AXP2101 chip, which orchestrates a 4-way power flow control circuit to minimize overall consumption, making it suitable for portable applications. The integrated BM8563 RTC chip provides accurate timing and enables advanced sleep modes with timer-based wake-up. The device combines a high-fidelity audio pipeline with a 1W speaker and dual microphones, enabling projects involving sound recognition, playback, or voice control.
