Description
The LilyGO T-Camera Plus merges Espressif’s powerful ESP32 wireless microcontroller with an OV2640 2-megapixel fisheye camera module and a compact 1.3-inch IPS display. This integration creates a standalone IoT vision node capable of capturing, processing, and transmitting image data over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip provides dual-core processing power alongside 8MB of external PSRAM, which is critical for buffering high-resolution image frames and running TensorFlow Lite Micro models for on-device inference.
Power is supplied via the onboard USB-C port at 5V, with the module operating at a typical current draw of 160mA. The inclusion of the CP2104 USB-to-serial bridge simplifies firmware uploading and serial debugging. The board’s compact 70mm x 30mm footprint and lightweight design make it suitable for mobile robotics, smart home security monitors, or portable data loggers where visual feedback and wireless communication are required.
