The Arducam LN054 is a purpose-built C-Mount telephoto lens designed to unlock the full imaging potential of the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera Module (IMX477 sensor). Its 50mm focal length provides a significantly tighter field of view compared to standard board lenses, making it suitable for applications requiring detail isolation, subject magnification, or compressed perspective, such as part inspection, wildlife monitoring, or studio product photography.
Engineered with an adjustable iris, the lens offers an aperture range from F1.8 to F16. This allows developers and photographers to finely tune exposure and depth of field, balancing light gathering in low-light conditions with maximum sharpness and extended focus range in bright environments. The all-manual focus mechanism provides tactile, repeatable control for achieving critical focus on subjects as close as 0.5 meters.
