Description
The Arducam B0240E camera module is engineered as a professional-grade imaging solution for Raspberry Pi-based embedded systems. At its core is a 1/2.3″ Sony IMX477 CMOS sensor with 1.55µm pixel size, providing excellent light sensitivity and sharp 12.3-megapixel resolution. The module connects directly to the Raspberry Pi’s Camera Serial Interface (CSI) via a flexible flat cable (FFC), leveraging the MIPI CSI-2 protocol for efficient data throughput.
Designed for developers and system integrators, this camera features a tool-free, interchangeable C/CS lens mount system. This allows for precise optical customization, from standard CCTV lenses to specialized optics for machine vision, robotics, or security applications. The board includes a 650nm IR cut filter for accurate color reproduction in visible light and supports the standard libcamera/V4L2 stack in Raspberry Pi OS for immediate use in Python, OpenCV, or other vision frameworks.
