Description
The Sipeed M1n Module AI Development Kit centers around the K210 chip, a potent RISC-V 64-bit dual-core processor with a standard frequency of 400 MHz, capable of overclocking. This module stands out with its integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), delivering 1 TOPs performance for highly efficient on-device AI tasks. It excels in applications such as facial recognition, object detection, and complex FFT spectrogram analysis, bringing advanced AI capabilities to compact embedded systems.
Designed for flexibility, the M1n module connects via its M.2 interface to the included Type-C adapter board. This adapter simplifies the development process by providing USB-to-UART functionality for easy code downloading. Additionally, the adapter board exposes 2.54mm pins, allowing developers to extend functionality with custom hardware integrations. The kit is further enhanced with a ZV-T01-GA4.2 camera, enabling direct image and video acquisition for vision-based AI projects.
Sipeed supports an accessible development ecosystem with its custom Maixpy IDE, tailored specifically for AI processing on the K210. For developers familiar with broader platforms, the M1n module is also compatible with the Arduino IDE and PlatformIO IDE, offering diverse options for programming, debugging, and deploying applications. This broad support ensures a flexible and familiar environment for both beginners and experienced embedded engineers.
