The DFRobot PiTray mini provides a neat and budget-friendly solution for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) applications. It leverages the CM4’s eMMC storage capabilities for reliable and fast disk I/O, making it ideal for both solo setups and cluster applications. For CM4 variants without Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, this design further enhances energy efficiency, allowing the operating system to conserve resources.

Designed as an excellent starter kit, the PiTray mini includes an eMMC boot switch, significantly simplifying the process of flashing OS images to eMMC-equipped CM4 modules.
