This Universal Programming Adapter Board serves as an essential interface for developers working with Microchip Technology PIC microcontrollers. Users can align 28-pin and 40-pin microcontrollers by setting a short-circuit cap to position A, or align 8-pin, 14-pin, 18-pin, and 20-pin microcontrollers by setting the cap to position B.

Designed for seamless integration with popular Microchip Technology programming tools, this adapter connects directly via the crystal head or 6-pin block programming connection of an ICD2, PICKit2, or PICKit3.
