The STMicroelectronics B-L4S5I-IOT01A Discovery Kit provides a robust platform for developing advanced Internet of Things (IoT) nodes with direct cloud server connectivity. At its core is the ultra-low power STM32L4S5VIT6 microcontroller, part of the STM32L4+ series, which leverages an Arm Cortex-M4 core alongside 2Mbytes of Flash memory and 640Kbytes of RAM. This powerful configuration allows for sophisticated processing while maintaining energy efficiency, critical for battery-operated IoT applications.

Designed for diverse applications, the kit supports low-power communication through integrated Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a dynamic NFC tag.
