The Surpass Hobby 2040 3200KV motor is optimized for 2S to 3S LiPo batteries (7.4V-12.6V). Pair it with a BLHeli_S or BLHeli_32 ESC rated for at least 20A continuous current per motor to ensure reliable power delivery and thermal headroom for aggressive throttle use.

The waterproof IP-rated construction protects the motor's internal windings, bearings, and magnets from moisture, dew, light rain, and debris. This allows for safer flying in damp grass, post-rain conditions, and high-humidity environments, reducing the risk of short circuits and corrosion for longer motor life.

This motor is best paired with small, lightweight propellers in the 2-inch to 3-inch diameter range, such as 2.5" tri-blade or 3" bi-blade props, when used on micro drones. The high KV rating provides strong thrust with lower-pitch props, making it ideal for high-RPM setups on lightweight 3-inch CineWhoop and freestyle frames.

The Surpass Hobby 2040 motor features a standard M2 mounting hole pattern with a 16mm diagonal hole spacing (M2 x 16mm). It is compatible with most micro and CineWhoop frames designed for 20mm motors. Always use thread-locking compound on the screws to prevent vibration-induced loosening.
