The SunFounder Pironman 5 is a meticulously designed mini-PC case specifically engineered to elevate the capabilities of your Raspberry Pi 5. Constructed from sturdy aluminum with clear acrylic side panels, this case not only offers robust protection but also enhances thermal performance and expands connectivity options. At its core, the Pironman 5 integrates a Pi 5 NVMe PIP (PCIe Peripheral Board), an adapter board that enables support for four NVMe M.2 SSD sizes (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280) via an M.2 M key slot. While certified for PCIe Gen 2.0 speeds (5 GT/sec), it can be manually configured for Gen 3.0 (10 GT/sec) to unlock faster data transfer rates, making it ideal for storage-intensive tasks like Network Attached Storage (NAS) or media servers.
Beyond storage, the Pironman 5 provides comprehensive system enhancements. It features an efficient cooling system comprising a tower cooler with a PWM fan, complemented by two addressable RGB fans, ensuring the Raspberry Pi 5 remains cool even under sustained 100% CPU load. A 0.96” OLED display offers critical system information such as CPU usage, temperature, and IP address at a glance.
