Description
The X-NUCLEO-AMICAM1 expansion board from STMicroelectronics empowers developers to acquire and stream audio from up to four microphones simultaneously, supporting a maximum sampling rate of 192 KHz. This board serves as an efficient platform for rapid prototyping and implementation of complex audio algorithms and microphone-based applications within the STM32 ecosystem.
Designed around the MP23ABS1 analog MEMS microphone, the expansion board maintains compatibility with the ST morpho connector layout and various analog microphone coupon boards, such as the STEVAL-MIC004V1. It integrates three MP23ABS1 microphones onboard; two are connected to an external ADC, while the third is directly routed to the STM32’s embedded ADC. Analog signal amplification is expertly handled by ST TSV91x wide bandwidth operational amplifiers, ensuring clear and robust audio input.
