The SparkFun GNSS Flex pHAT is engineered to simplify the integration of modular GNSS functionality into Raspberry Pi and other compatible single-board computers. As a solder-free carrier, it securely connects SparkPNT GNSS Flex modules via dedicated 2×20-pin headers, providing comprehensive access to critical communication and timing interfaces. This design streamlines development for navigation, robotics, and autonomous systems requiring precise positioning.
This pHAT supports up to four UARTs, USB, and I²C protocols, along with SD card and PPS signals from the connected GNSS module. A convenient USB-C connector enables direct module connectivity, while both U.FL and SMA connectors facilitate flexible antenna bridging. Additional features include a µSD card socket, Qwiic connector for quick prototyping, indicator LEDs, and 24 configurable jumpers for GPIO isolation and I²C pull-up management, ensuring adaptable integration into diverse projects.
