This premium PLA variant is formulated to produce prints with a distinct silky, glossy luster, featuring a smooth surface that beautifully reflects light. The unique blue, yellow, and fuchsia color blend transitions seamlessly, allowing for dynamic and eye-catching artistic and decorative creations.
Beyond its exceptional appearance, this filament maintains the characteristic ease of printing associated with standard PLA, boasting excellent layer adhesion and minimal shrinkage or warping. It performs optimally within a nozzle temperature range of 200-220°C and a bed temperature of 45-60°C, ensuring reliable extrusion and adhesion on most FDM/FFF 3D printers. Parts printed with SOVOL Silk PLA exhibit good tensile strength of 60MPa and an impact strength of 28 kJ/m², making them suitable for functional prototypes where a premium finish is desired, alongside a respectable level of durability.
