RP-L-110 Force Sensitive Resistor (20g-10kg) - 0.4mm Thickness
The RP-L-110 is a thin-film force sensitive resistor (FSR) designed for static and dynamic pressure sensing applications. This ultra-thin 0.4mm sensor provides a variable resistance output inversely proportional to applied force, making it compatible with microcontroller ADCs on platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 for force measurement and threshold detection.
Features
- Force Sensing Range: 20 grams to 10 kilograms (operational range 50g-5kg)
- Ultra-Thin Profile: 0.4mm thickness with rear adhesive for easy mounting
- Fast Dynamic Response: Less than 10ms response time for real-time force detection
- Variable Resistance Output: Resistance decreases proportionally with increasing applied force
- Robust Construction: Built with flexible polyester film and nano-sized sensing material

The RP-L-110 Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) operates on the principle of piezoresistivity, where applied force compresses a specialized nano-Particle sensing layer, shunting conductive traces on a flexible substrate to produce a variable resistance. This two-terminal device functions as a force-controlled variable resistor or a programmable threshold switch, requiring simple voltage divider circuits for signal conditioning with 3.3V or 5V logic systems.
Constructed from durable polyester films with a spacer adhesive layer, the sensor’s active area remains free of adhesive to ensure unimpeded force transduction. The thin, flexible form factor allows for integration into tight spaces and curved surfaces, suitable for both static load monitoring and dynamic impact sensing across a wide operational temperature range.
